Book Review – Death Warden (MC Syndicates 2) by Debbie Cassidy

Everything I’ve read by Debbie Cassidy so far has been well put together and kept me on the edge of my seat. I was excited to try this necromancer, motorcycle club, urban fantasy story. This was a standalone novel amidst a series by different authors set inside the MC Syndicates universe. I loved, Adi, the witch heroine and her relationship with her mates, Logan (hellhound), Spectre (hellhound) and Curos (lich). Normally it’s hard to balance multiple relationships in one book but I thought Cassidy accomplishes well-rounded personalities and relationships of everyone involved. I also felt that the plot and action balanced with the relationship aspect of the story. The tone remained suspenseful, and that ending hit me right in the feels. I loved the way the motorcycles interacted with the club members. I loved everything about this and recommend giving this a try. (4/5 rating)

National Chocolate Ice Cream Day – June 7th

Pixabay.

I learned something new this year with the day of June 7th. Since ice cream is it’s own food group for me, of course I must celebrate! Getting in that chocolate goodness that always puts a smile on our faces! I have a recommendation for you wayward travelers – should you choose to celebrate as well. I promise you will not be disappointed.

I once traveled to Wisconsin to explore and the find of my life occurred in a Chocolate Shop with their ice cream. Their Zanzabar chocolate ice cream s the pinnacle of human achievement, in my biased opinion. It is the perfect amount of rich and chocolate. I don’t put Hershey’s on mine since it will never need it. If you haven’t tried it, go now, there’s no time to waste. You’re welcome.
