Lantern of Fear
A single lantern,
Can peel back the darkness,
Help reset the shadows of our gardens,
Help escape the invading mistress.
Candescent.
We trudge through her lambent teeth,
To find solace on the other side.
We always struggle to breathe,
Searching for the outside.
Luminous.
