I recently discovered the Drunk History TV show, which is embarrassing to me, considering my TV watching habits. I watch Comedy Central, religiously, for both the South Park and Office reruns, as well as the Daily Show with Trevor Noah. It wasn’t until this week that I discovered the awesomeness that is Drunk History.
Drunk History, opened with the Christmas History Special, where they discussed the history of Christmas trees and how they came to be popular among our current celebrations. This show is a genius premise since many people tend to be bored with history and just memorizing facts, while this show creates a fun way for the adults of us to learn new things. Since many of us are forgoing Christmas celebrations of our own, with the pandemic at terrifying case levels, we’re certainly spending more time in front of the TV.
Have you guys seen this show before? I noticed it first premiered in 2013 but they missed a 2020 season. I am hoping they pick it back up after all this madness of 2020 is subsided.
